About Me

With a strong background of eight years in legal assistance and paralegal work, I am dedicated to providing reliable and efficient support to legal professionals and individuals. My commitment to accuracy and professionalism ensures that your legal support needs are met with the highest standards of service.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish (graduated summa cum laude) and a certificate of Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved paralegal studies program. As part of my education, I took classes in ethics, litigation, torts, legal research and writing, real estate transactions, estate administration, and intellectual property law.

I am very empathetic to clients and take a client-centric approach. Clients seek legal assistance when they are in scary and tough situations, and they need help. I have been on the client-side of stressful matters myself, so I also know first-hand how they feel. I believe strongly in open and proactive communication with clients.

A few professional accomplishments:

1. In 2022 I assisted my firm in successfully defending two appeals filed by the State of New Jersey in which our aim was to protect a severly mentally ill man.

2. Restored a woman to capacity after she overcame her disability and was again able to manage her affairs.

3. Successful settlement of a highly contested estate case in which the decedent's "friend" attempted to take all of the decedent's estate for himself through a series of fraudulent acts.

4. Litigated a Quiet Title action in which the prior owner was a member of the Sovereign Citizen's Movement and intentionally complicated the chain of title beyond recognition.

5. Filed an emergency guardianship under NJSA 3B:12B-11 (emergency jurisdiction of an out-of-state resident physically in NJ)

Get to know me! Some fun facts about me as a person:

1. I have been to 40 US states and 13 countries.

2. I speak Spanish and am currently learning Italian and Japanese.

3. I make some of my own clothes.

4. I played trumpet in the 2014 Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps as their soloist, in front of crowds as large as 11,000 people.
